General Manager
We are currently seeking a Gas Station General Manager to lead the team for our new Petro
Canada Service Station located in Dauphin, MB.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on individual who is committed and has the leaderships skills to lead,
direct, coach, and train staff as required.
Reporting to the board of directors, responsibilities for this position include the following:

Key Duties:
• Ensure a healthy and safe work environment for staff members.
• Lead, coach, and direct the team to provide excellent customer service.
• Communicate with various stakeholders as required.
• Ensure compliance with all environmental and legal requirements.
• Achieve financial results and budget objectives in the areas of sales, margins, expenses,
and profits.
• Ensure standards of the business are met, including customer service, cleanliness,
inventory control, and asset protection.
• Provide leadership and direction to employees in accordance with business policies,
procedures, programs, and overall expectations.
• Attend board meetings as needed and provide operational updates as required.
• Establish and oversee work schedules to ensure operational requirements are met.
• Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply
matters.
• Manage and protect all assets.
• Complete and conduct performance reviews as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
Prior experience in managing a high-paced retail business, preferrable in a gas bar environment.
Above average communication and interpersonal skills. An aptitude for marketing, leadership,
some accounting, maintaining business standards, and strong merchandising techniques.
Experience in building effective teams. A firm, but friendly and sociable personality, with the
ability to work with others. A good understanding of Point-of-Sale systems and basic computer
applications.
